What does Nyota charge?+
13% on every campaign, paid by you, the brand. The fee is shown live in the campaign builder while you set the budget — you see the creator pool and the platform cut before you fund. No setup fee, no monthly seat fee, no tier lock-in.
How fast do creators actually get paid?+
M-Pesa payouts settle in under a minute once you approve the deliverable. Bank and card take a few hours depending on the rail. Funds sit in escrow on the platform until you release them, so creators see the money is committed before they commit to the brief.
How are creators verified?+
Every creator passes KYC (national ID or passport + selfie match) and verifies the social handles they perform against. The Authority Score on each profile reflects on-time delivery, completed campaigns, and verified socials. You see those signals in Discover before you invite anyone.
What happens if a creator does not deliver?+
Funds stay in escrow until you approve. If the work doesn't meet the brief, request changes or open a dispute — the creator isn't paid until it resolves. If we can't resolve it, that creator's budget returns to your wallet in full.
Who owns the content?+
You license it per the brief. Usage rights are a first-class field in every brief (organic only / paid usage / exclusivity window), agreed before work starts and signed via the platform — not via a side DM.
What if we disagree mid-campaign?+
Every campaign has one canonical thread, witnessed by the platform. Either side can flag a dispute; a platform reviewer reads the thread, the brief, and the submitted work, and makes a binding call within 48 hours. Funds release per that decision.
